This course is particularly aimed at graduate/master level as text as assumes enough knowledge of chemistry, physics or basics material electronic. It aims to convey a basic understanding of a wide range of electronic and ionic material important  to today’s world. Learning outcome for this course :

DESKRIPSI MATA KULIAH

Mata kuliah Perancangan Sistem Pengendalian Korosi ini merupakan mata kuliah yang mempelajari   teori terkait dengan korosi diantaranya mekanisme korosi, termodinamika, kinetika, polarisasi korosi, pourbaix diagram. Selanjutnya sistem pengendalian korosi yang dipelajari meliputi desain struktur dan pemilihan bahan, proteksi katodik dengan anoda korban (SACP), proteksi katodik dengan arus paksa (ICCP), pelapisan, inhibitor). Dari aspek material dipelajari ketahanan material logam terhadap korosi (baja tahan karat, baja tuang, baja karbon, baja paduan rendah, logam non ferrous dan paduan-paduannya) dan degradasi material bukan logam (polimer, keramik dan komposit)
